Universiti Malaya Academic Club

UMAC banana leaf serves very delicious food with lots of varieties. .The Sorra Puttu was the best and cheap too. The only issue is the place is  packed during lunch hour and we end up sitting in garden area. Another experience having banana leaf in garden.

Location : Opposite Mahsa University in PJ.next to the abandoned bungalows

Venue name: Universiti Malaya Academic Club
Address: 1 Jalan 12/5
Seksyen 12
Kuala Lumpur
46200
Opening hours: Daily, 11.30am- 3pm; 6-10.30pm

Lunch at UMAC. One banana leaf rice, 1 plate of curry chicken, thairu, paisam, resam & teh tarik cost me RM15. Food was good. Satisfied. The last bit of mutton curry on top of rice was free.

4 BLR 2 fried fish, 1 chicken varuval, 4 rasam and 4 plain water came up to RM35. My hubby smiling as prices reasonable. Found the 7 condiments good. The fish curry was a bit bland but I enjoyed the food as I came out of the place not bloated!

Heritage Restaurant at KL

It's not difficult to find decent food at reasonable prices in KL. This is at Heritage Restaurant at KL old railway station.

I loved the fish - fried first and then made into curry. My mum used to make this long ago and I have even forgotten about it. The fish and curry was yummylecious.
